We have tried to make the Karcher Center JHS terms and conditions for returning orders or product(s) as easy to understand as possible. Please take the time to read these carefully before proceeding with any returns.
If you are returning a product you no longer require for any reason
You want to return product(s) and it is within 30 days after the day it was delivered to you :
- We adhere to The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations, which means that we will accept items back even if you have opened the goods to inspect them as you would do if you were purchasing them from a physical retail shop.
- You are making this return within the above time frame, which is also indicated on your Return Slip.
- The item(s) you are wish to return are in "AS NEW" condition and are being returned in the original packaging along with any accessories and free gifts that may have been supplied with individual items.
You can examine the items as you would in a shop but, to obtain a full refund for the cost of the items(s) you are returning, you MUST NOT start using them or assemble them is such a way that they cannot be disassembled without damaging them or are unable to be returned in the way in which you received them. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 25% where items have clearly been used, as using any item invalidates your "right to return" under The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations.
You will need to return your items using a delivery service of your choice, which you will need to arrange at your cost. You will be responsible for any damage or loss to the returned product(s) if this occurs so it is your responsibility to ensure adequate cover is provided by your selected courier in the event of such loss or damage. Karcher Center JHS will not be liable for such losses should this happen.
If you are returning a product that is incorrect or incompatible
You want to return product(s) and it is up to 30 days after the date it was delivered to you :

If you have ordered a product that is incompatible or incorrect for your Karcher product, and you did not request any prior advice from Karcher Center JHS before placing an order for the item(s) in question, or have not read product descriptions fully, you will need to return your items using a delivery service of your choice, which you will need to arrange at your cost. You will be responsible for any damage or loss to the returned product(s) if this occurs so it is your responsibility to ensure adequate cover is provided by your selected courier in the event of such loss or damage. Karcher Center JHS will not be liable for such losses should this happen.
If the product(s) are incompatible or incorrect, and we have described the product incorrectly, provided inaccurate or misleading information on our website or we have advised you via an email, a response to a request form, or over the phone that a product is suitable for your karcher product when it is incompatible or incorrect, then we will either provide a returns label for you to use or contact you to arrange for your items to be sent back to us, we will not charge you for arranging this.
If you have received something that you didn't order
You want to return product(s) and it is within 30 days after the day it was delivered to you :
- We adhere to The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations, which means that we will accept items back even if you have opened the goods to inspect them as you would do if you were purchasing them from a physical retail shop.
- You are making this return within the above time frame, which is also indicated on your Return Slip.
- The item(s) you are wish to return are in "AS NEW" condition and are being returned in the original packaging along with any accessories and free gifts that may have been supplied with individual items.

If you have received an item or order that was not what you originally ordered from our website and it is clearly an error or mistake on our part, then we will either provide a returns label for you to use or contact you to arrange for your items to be sent back to us, we will not charge you for arranging this.
Item(s) you have ordered are faulty or have arrived damaged
If it is within 30 days after the day it was delivered to you :
You can either fill in the form on the RETURN A FAULTY OR INCORRECT PRODUCT and we will contact you to try and resolve the problem.

You can call us on 01502 563846 and talk to a member of our customer services team who will provide you with further help and assistance. Depending on the items(s), we may be able to take you through some very simple diagnostics to make sure that it is not a problem that can easily be resolved over the phone so that you do not necessarily need to return the product(s).
If the problem cannot be easily resolved by you after following our instructions or advice, or the fault has returned or gotten worse, we will contact you to either provide a returns label for you to use or contact you to arrange for your items to be sent back to us, we will not charge you for arranging this. Once we have received your item(s) and evaluated them and a fault or issue is found, then we will offer you the following ways to resolve the issue:
- Repair your item, returning it to it's full function and ensuring it is fault-free before it is returned to you free of charge. This does not, in any way, affect any future warranty or consumer rights.
- You can have the item exchanged for a new one and sent out to you free of charge. Your warranty for this replacement runs from your purchase date, not the date it was replaced.
- You can choose to have a full refund including the any delivery costs paid at the time of ordering.
If it is 31 days or more after the day it was delivered to you but within the warranty period
If the fault develops after 30 days from the date of delivery, but is during the warranty period offered by Karcher/Karcher Center JHS, your fault will be dealt with under the warranty agreement for your affected item. Unless otherwise described, advised or arranged to the contrary, all items purchased via the Karcher Center JHS website are supplied with a RETURN TO BASE WARRANTY. With this type of warranty, the cost of carriage is not included as part of the agreement.
As Karcher UK do not include any provision for the cost of any travelling or carriage in returning products back to us under the terms of the warranty agreement or the subsequent delivery back to the customer, if you wish to return a product under warranty, you will need to return your items using a delivery service of your choice, which you will need to arrange at your cost. You will be responsible for any damage or loss to the returned product(s) if this occurs so it is your responsibility to ensure adequate cover is provided by your selected courier in the event of such loss or damage. Karcher Center JHS will not be liable for such losses should this happen. If you need us to delivery on your behalf, we can arrange this for you and provide either a return label or arrange a courier for you, however this is chargeable and is not included under the warranty agreement.
Once we have received your item(s) and evaluated them and a fault or issue is found, then we will offer you the following ways to resolve the issue:
- Repair your item, returning it to it's full function and ensuring it is fault-free before it is returned to you free of charge. This does not, in any way, affect any future warranty or consumer rights.
- At Karcher UK's sole discretion, with Karcher Center JHS acting as an authorised agent for the manufacturer, the item can be exchanged for a new one and sent out to you free of charge. Your warranty for this replacement runs from your purchase date, not the date it was replaced.
Refunds and deductions
In respect of all return reasons, if you have selected or have been offered a refund by Karcher Center JHS, once we have received the returned item(s) back from you and have had the opportunity to evaluate and test them (if applicable), we will issue you with a refund for the cost of the item(s) returned less any delivery charges you paid at the time of ordering. If we arranged your return and this was not provided or offered as a free service, this will also be deducted from your final refund, if applicable. We also reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 25% where items have clearly been used or item(s) have been returned outside of the initial 30 day return period detailed herein as either of these reasons invalidate your "right to return" under The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations. In the event of a warranty claim, this restocking fee will not be in force and does not apply.
Refunds can take up to 3-5 working days to appear as a credit back to your payment card or PayPal account once they have been issued. We will notify you via email when such a refund has been issued and advise you the extent of your refund in an attached document detailing the refund and credit.
