As it is part of the Karcher 18 Volt Battery Universe, the Karcher GSH 18-20 Battery Powered Grass & Shrub Shear is compatible with Karcher 18V 2.5 Ah Power Lithium Ion Batteries and Karcher 18V 5.0 Ah Power Lithium Ion Batteries as well as the Karcher 18V 3.0Ah Power+ Lithium Battery from the Karcher Professional Range and any of the Karcher 18 V system chargers, however these will need to be purchased separately as they are not supplied with the Karcher GSH 18-20 Battery Powered Grass & Shrub Shear, making the Karcher GSH 18-20 Battery Powered Grass & Shrub Shear ideal for owners of existing Karcher 18V Battery Universe platform products as one battery and charger can be used throughout the range.
