Delivery Information

Welcome to the Karcher Center JHS delivery information page. We aim to make the journey of your order from our warehouse to your door as transparent and efficient as possible.

The overview below outlines our commitment to providing a service-based delivery model. Rather than being tied to a single provider, we utilise a range of logistics partners to ensure your items arrive via the most reliable route available. To help you manage your expectations, please keep the following key principles in mind while browsing our services:

  • Target Delivery Dates: All timeframes provided are estimated targets rather than guaranteed arrival dates. These represent a reasonable expectation of when your order will arrive based on real-time system calculations.
  • Service-Led Logistics: Our delivery options are defined by the level of service and speed selected, allowing us the flexibility to choose the best-suited carrier for your specific requirements.
  • Clear Communication: From estimated costs in your basket to the fixed Target Delivery Date confirmed at checkout, we provide the data you need to plan ahead.

All orders placed through Karcher Center JHS may be subject to delivery charges. Delivery costs can be estimated on the View Cart page and will be confirmed during the Checkout process before payment.

You can amend your preferred delivery option during checkout, including any Free Delivery offers where available prior to confirming your order.

If you need to change your delivery method after placing your order, please contact us on 01502 563846 as soon as possible. Changes can only be made before your order is processed for dispatch and may incur additional charges.


Important Delivery Information

  • Our working days are Monday–Friday (excluding weekends and bank holidays)
  • Orders placed before 12:00 pm (midday) on a working day will begin processing the same day; orders placed after this time will be processed on the next working day for the purpose of calculating your Target Delivery Date
  • All delivery services are provided with a Target Delivery Date; this is not a guaranteed delivery date
  • The Target Delivery Date shown at checkout is the confirmed expected delivery date for your order and should be used as the primary reference for delivery timing

Your Target Delivery Date is automatically generated at the point of order using a rules-based calculation that takes into account:

  • Stock availability
  • Delivery service selected
  • Order processing time
  • Non-working days (including weekends and bank holidays)

Once your order has been placed, the Target Delivery Date is automatically generated by our system, fixed at the point of order, and cannot be manually altered, edited, or influenced in any way.

Delivery is considered to have been fulfilled where it occurs within the stated Target Delivery Date.


Delivery Locations

We currently deliver to mainland United Kingdom, the Scottish Highlands & Islands, and the Isle of Man.

Please note: We do not currently deliver to Northern Ireland.

Free Delivery

  • Available on selected products and orders over £75.00
  • Fully tracked service
  • Target Delivery Date: Typically within 7–10 working days

Economy Delivery

  • Suitable for smaller, lightweight items
  • Fully tracked service
  • Target Delivery Date: Typically within 5–7 working days

Standard Delivery

  • Suitable for most items
  • Fully tracked service
  • Target Delivery Date: Typically within 2–3 working days

Pallet Delivery

  • Suitable for oversize or heavy items that cannot use a normal parcel network
  • Fully tracked service
  • Target Delivery Date: Typically within 3–5 working days

Express Delivery

  • Priority handling and fastest available service
  • Fully tracked service
  • Target Delivery Date: Typically within 1–2 working days

Important: Express delivery is a priority service and not a guaranteed next-day service. The Target Delivery Date shown at checkout reflects the earliest achievable delivery based on order timing, working days, and processing constraints.


Delivery Instructions

Delivery instructions can be provided to assist the driver in locating your address. This may include useful information such as access directions, gate codes or a what3words location.

Any instructions entered at checkout are used for guidance only and do not form part of the delivery service or liability.

Please note: Any instructions requesting that goods are left in a safe place or with a neighbour will not be actioned for the purposes of your order. If you wish to arrange a safe place delivery, this must be done directly with the delivery provider once your order has been dispatched.

Once your order is on its way, you will receive notification of your delivery date and time window. At this point, you can submit safe place instructions directly with the delivery provider via the link in your email, SMS updates, or through their app or website.

If you choose to arrange a safe place delivery directly with the delivery provider, this is done at your discretion and risk. Delivery will be considered complete once the goods have been left in the specified location, and responsibility for the items transfers to you at that point.



Additional Information

  • Service Level Basis: Delivery services are provided based on the selected service level rather than a specific delivery provider. This allows us to select the most efficient carrier for your items.
  • Performance Commitment: Our commitment is to process and dispatch your order in accordance with the selected service level to meet the Target Delivery Date. Once goods are handed to the carrier within the necessary timeframe to meet this target, the service is considered successfully provided.
  • Operational Costs: Delivery pricing is comprehensive and includes all handling, logistics, and operational costs associated with your order.
  • Liability & Delays: While we strive for precision, the Target Delivery Date is an estimate and not a guaranteed deadline. No compensation, refunds, or liability is offered for deliveries occurring after the Target Delivery Date due to factors outside our control, including but not limited to third-party courier delays, network congestion, or adverse weather.
  • Consequential Loss: Karcher Center JHS is not liable for any secondary costs, loss of earnings, or inconvenience resulting from a delivery arriving after the Target Delivery Date.

Stock Statuses & Availability

To provide full transparency regarding your order, Karcher Center JHS uses three primary stock statuses. While our website synchronises frequently, please note that stock levels should be treated as a live indication only, as they may be affected by simultaneous walk-in trade or telephone orders.

  • In Stock: The item is currently available in our warehouse. The quantity shown reflects the physical stock available for immediate processing at the time of your visit.
  • Available to Order - Backorder: The item is currently out of stock in our local warehouse but remains available for purchase. By proceeding, you are placing a Pre-Order. We will secure the item directly from Karcher UK central stock and dispatch it to you via your chosen delivery method as soon as it arrives.
  • Currently Unavailable: This status appears when there is a known supply issue or a significant delay with Karcher UK.

Managing Your Expectations

  • Pre-Order Identification: If an item has insufficient stock to fulfil your order immediately, it will be clearly marked with a ***  and you will see an alert notification within your shopping cart and at checkout.
  • Order Consolidation: To remain efficient and environmentally conscious, we typically ship orders only once all items are available. If your order contains an item marked ***, the order is treated as a Pre-Order and the delivery timeframe will be determined by the product with the longest lead time.
  • Non-Binding Guidelines: While we strive for accuracy, all stock and delivery statuses remain subject to real-time availability. We will make every effort to contact you should an unforeseen issue delay your order beyond the target delivery date.
