The Karcher LTR 3-18 Battery Power Lawn Trimmer (1.445-470.0) is a second-generation cordless grass trimmer designed for trimming lawn edges, grass around obstacles and areas that cannot easily be reached with a lawn mower. The updated design places particular emphasis on user comfort, adjustability and convenient handling during routine garden maintenance.
The second-generation LTR 3-18 improves upon its predecessor with a particularly well thought out ergonomic design. A fully adjustable telescopic main shaft allows the overall length of the trimmer to be adapted to suit the individual operator, while the adjustable auxiliary handhold can be repositioned to provide a comfortable and controlled working position.
Kärcher has also made adjustment of the cutting head particularly convenient. A foot-operated button allows the angle of the cutting head to be changed without having to reach down and manually reposition it, making it easier to adapt the trimmer to different areas of the garden while working.
As part of the Kärcher 18 Volt Battery Power platform, the LTR 3-18 uses the same interchangeable battery system as a growing range of compatible Kärcher garden tools and cleaning machines. Compatible 18V batteries can therefore be shared between machines, allowing customers to build a collection of cordless Kärcher equipment around a common battery platform.
